Many of the details are still fairly new to many builders, and there is a learning curve associated with the proper design, integration, and installation of these water management concepts. As these details become more common in the design of the water management systems for homes, these details will become part of the standard repertoire for contractors. To prevent “bad habits” from forming, it is important at this time to work towards ensuring that critical areas of installation are recognized and that proper installation methods are understood and used.
