The money could have been available to improve other building components to make them more energy efficient in addition to increasing the builder’s profit margin and improving the marketability of the product.

Required Corrections

The framing above the door can be minimized by using a header of two vertical framing pieces and the vertical wood framing against the door can be reduced to half of the framing used and incorporating Advanced Framing techniques.
