About Our Contributors


buildingscience.com was started by Building Science Corporation almost 20 years ago to share knowledge and resources with the construction and design community. BSC has developed the website into a highly regarded portal for free, objective, science-based knowledge.

The buildingscience.com project is now in a stage of expansion and BSC has been joined by a growing group of Industry Contributors. Our Contributors play a dual role in the project. First, their contributions support the business infrastructure of the website, allowing us to devote more resources to developing content. Just as importantly, Contributors add depth and breadth to our site by engaging in dialogue about critical building science issues. BSC has invited a staff member from each Contributor - in each case, a recognized industry expert - to contribute to this dialogue. Their industry-specific insider perspectives will complement the expertise of our authors and create a richer reading experience.
