Advanced Technologies - Energy Analysis Overview
The case study house was modeled with the following additional energy
consumption reduction and energy generation strategies. The strategies
were modeled individually to demonstrate the relative impact of each. The
final row highlights the total whole house energy consumption reduction if
all of the strategies are applied together.
The case study model design achieved a whole house 64.2% energy
reduction when all the advanced strategies were employed at the same time
compared to the Building America Benchmark.
